You already know that putting your space in order can dramatically enhance your well-being.

But maybe you don’t know where to start. Maybe you’ve always struggled with organizing your things. Or maybe you’re facing a move or life event that has thrown off your regular routine.

Whatever the circumstance, I can help you save time, AVOID FRUSTRATION, and reach your productive potential through better organization.

Growing up in the suburbs of Washington D.C., I was passionate about organizing from an early age. In third grade, when assigned a how-to essay on any topic, I wrote about How to Organize a Drawer! My enthusiasm for organizing persisted over the years. Inevitably, I became the first phone call for family and friends looking for help with downsizing, closet clean-outs, and setting up new homes.

As I tackled organizing projects from Los Angeles to Florida, New York, Massachusetts, and Maryland, I realized how much joy and satisfaction I take in the process, while helping others bring order to their lives. Leaving behind a 10+ year career as an award-winning independent producer and studio executive, I formed SK Organizing, a licensed and insured Los Angeles area business, and joined NAPO, the industry-leading National Association of Organizing and Productivity Professionals, quickly completing their professional training curriculum and earning multiple Specialist Certificates. I recently completed six years of service on the Board of Directors of NAPO Los Angeles, the founding chapter of the organization, including a term as its President.

In July 2019, I became a Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®), the only independently accredited industry credential, awarded to candidates to have demonstrated 1,500 paid hours of transfer-of-skills client work and passed the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO®) examination. There are fewer than 400 CPO®s currently in practice.

A Professional Organizer supports evaluation, decision-making, and action around objects, space, and data; helping clients achieve desired outcomes regarding function, order, and clarity.

In the spring of 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic reshaped life at home and work, SK Organizing became a multi-person business, enabling us to serve more clients more efficiently. Over the course of the following two years, millions of Americans moved or shifted to working and learning from home, and were forced to reorganize their space to accommodate these new demands. The demand for organizing services only continues to rise with the popularity of TV series featuring professional organizers sparking joy, reframing organizing as a luxury, and helping seniors downsize on the Scandinavian model.

As of 2023, the SK Organizing team is nine strong and expanding our service area into the South Bay and beyond.

We look forward to hearing from you and to helping you create the ordered environment of your dreams!
