Growing up in the suburbs of Washington D.C., I was passionate about organizing from an early age. In third grade, when assigned a how-to essay on any topic, I wrote about How to Organize a Drawer! My enthusiasm for organizing persisted over the years. Inevitably, I became the first phone call for family and friends needing help with moves, closet clean-outs, and myriad other organizing tasks.

As I tackled organizing projects from Los Angeles to Florida, New York, Massachusetts, and Maryland, I realized how much joy and satisfaction I take in the process, while helping others bring order to their lives. I formed SK Organizing, a licensed and insured Beverly Hills business, and joined NAPO, the industry-leading National Association of Organizing and Productivity Professionals, quickly completing their professional training curriculum and earning multiple Specialist Certificates.

In July 2019, I became a Certified Professional Organizer® (CPO®), the only independently accredited industry credential, awarded to candidates to have demonstrated 1,500 paid hours of transfer-of-skills client work and passed the Board of Certification for Professional Organizers (BCPO®) examination. There are fewer than 400 CPOs currently in practice.

I also serve on the NAPO Chapter Relations and POINT Committees, as well as on the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Chapter.

I come to organizing with over 10 years of experience in the entertainment industry where I produced several independent films, won the NATPE Digital Luminary Award for Best Branded Entertainment Series, and served as a development executive for a number of independent production companies. My producing background gives me an invaluable set of skills around balancing creativity with careful planning.
